Hello and welcome!

I’m Sheelagh — a bicycle traveler and video creator. 

In 2019, after dreaming about it for years, I bought a one-way ticket to Edinburgh, Scotland, with plans to cycle across Europe. I had never traveled alone, never journeyed by bicycle. I truthfully didn’t know if I would find myself too scared the first week and fly home! But I didn’t. I fell in love with bike touring and learned more about myself and the world in my 3.5 month ride from Scotland to Croatia than I knew was possible. 

I returned home and soon began working in a bike shop to better understand and repair my bicycles. I also started working as staff on supported bike tours to support others’ in their bicycle adventures.

And every bit of the way I chronicle my learnings and adventures through videos on my Youtube Channel.

I know how scary  it can seem to take the plunge and head out on a great big bicycle adventure — heck, I almost didn’t! As a result, it has become my greatest passion to provide others’ with inspiration and information to help them set off on their own adventures.

I’m just out here exploring the world by bike, and if you’re interested, hopefully helping you do the same 😉
