I am incredibly excited today to announce that a new recipe of mine is being featured over on the lovely Brit Linton’s blog, Healthy Happy and Hilarious.
This is especially exciting because Brit and I go way back. Before I was learning everything I could about holistic nutrition I was eating pretty much everything in sight in order to fuel the 20+ hours of synchronized swimming I was doing every week. Not only did swimming competitively help teach me all about the importance of exercise and fueling your body from a young age, but it also introduced me to so many incredible girls, including Brit! Throwback!…
It is so exciting that all these years later we’ve both managed to find our ways to the incredible field of holistic nutrition. So when Brit asked me to be a part of her Meatless Monthly Meal series I was beyond thrilled! Brit and Sheelagh team up: Part 2!
For Brit’s January meatless feature I decided to perfect and share this yummy curried cabbage and chickpeas recipe I’ve been eating for a few weeks now. I love that she features a meatless meal once a month and am so happy to be a part of it.

I believe there is huge value to eating less meat and animal products than our standard North American diet leans towards. If you have meat with most of your meals, incorporating a meatless meal or day into your week is a great way to start. There are so many incredible vegan and vegetarian recipes and blogs out there just waiting to be discovered.
Head on over to Healthy Happy and Hilarious to check out my curried cabbage and chickpeas recipe and enjoy a delicious, satisfying and totally meat-free dish!
Great picture. I’ll definitely make this recipe as I love cabbage and chick peas.
I love that you and Brit are both doing similar things! I’ll be sure to check out your site often. Hope you’re doing well!
Awww thanks Ashleigh! It is so cool how it has worked out! Thanks for the support!! 🙂
